Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson has over 30 years of work experience, starting with Zurich Insurance plc in 1992. Chris held various sales and sales management roles there until 2011. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as an Account Executive at Countrywide Insurance Management Ltd and as a Major Account Manager at Ant Marketing. Chris then returned to Zurich Insurance plc until 2011.

In 2011, Chris joined RSA as the Head of Sales and Distribution/Regional Manager, Broker. Chris was responsible for leading the Personal Lines Broker Sales and Development teams. Chris worked closely with regional brokers, national brokers, delegated authority schemes, and broker networks.

From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Academy Coach at Manchester City Football Club and then joined Barnsley FC as an Academy Coach from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Senior Development Manager at Covéa Insurance.

Their most recent position is at ERS, where they started in 2019. Chris initially served as the Regional Development Manager, responsible for business development and account management in the north of England. Since 2023, they have been the Head of Regional Development at ERS.
