Edina Kovács

Edina Kovács has a strong background in finance and accounting spanning over several decades. Edina is currently the Head of Finance and Accounting at Erste Bank. Prior to their current role, they served as the Managing Director of Back Office Departments at Commerzbank Zrt., where they also held the position of Deputy Head of Accounting. Edina began their career as an Audit Assistant at PwC.

Edina Kovács attended ACCA starting in 2022 but did not specify a degree or field of study. From 1991 to 1996, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance at Corvinus University of Budapest. Additionally, they have studied Tax Law/Taxation at the Hungarian Audit Chamber and obtained a Chartered Auditor degree specializing in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, and Financial Analysis, also from the Hungarian Audit Chamber.
