Michael Gorecki

Michael Gorecki has a strong background in finance and accounting. Michael started their career at Ernst & Young as an Auditor and Certified Public Accountant. After six years, they joined Accenture as a Finance Director and European Controller, where they were responsible for financial and compliance matters for multiple legal entities. In 2016, Michael joined HUBER+SUHNER as Head of Finance and Accounting, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax calculations, and managing a team of direct reports.

Michael Gorecki attended the Swiss Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Tax Experts from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Certified Public Accountant degree. In 2012, they pursued further education at Chartered Accountants Ireland, earning a Diploma in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) in 2013. Michael also holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Economics from Ruhr University Bochum, which they acquired from 1993 to 1998.
