David Babic

David Babic currently serves as the Group Shadow IT Governance Officer and Group Outsourcing Governance Officer at Erste Group since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles in IT Risk Management and IT Risk & Security at ING in Österreich from May 2019 to June 2021, and IT-Compliance at SER-Group from January 2018 to May 2019. Additionally, David held positions in IT-Governance/CIO-Office at VOLKSBANK WIEN AG and completed an internship at UniCredit Bank Austria AG in the Data Protection Office/IT-Compliance. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Wirtschaftsrecht from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), completed in 2017, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Wirtschaftsrecht from the same institution, earned in 2014, supplemented by a vocational qualification in Betriebswirtschaft und Rechnungswesen from Vienna Business School and a degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Schule für Datenverarbeitung (H&K Private Academy).
