Andy Nyce, PMP

Andy Nyce, PMP has over 10 years of experience in the project management field. In 2022, they began working as the Director of Project Management at Erthos, Inc., an emerging technology company based in Tempe, AZ focused on innovating new approaches to utility-scale solar, solar + storage plant designs, installation methods and long term operations. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at DEPCOM Power, Inc., first as the Director of Project Management, then as a Project Manager, Director of Quality, and Construction Manager. In 2014, they worked as a Project Engineer/Project Manager at Konisto Companies LLC, providing technical engineering and construction management experience for the installation of large scale solar photovoltaic installations throughout the United States. That same year, they also worked at NRG Solutions Cambodia as a Project Manager, responsible for the development of a new Efficiency business unit. In 2012, they worked at Ecosave Pty Ltd as a Technical Project Manager, conducting site assessments in both commercial buildings and industrial settings to determine potential energy and water conservation opportunities. In 2011, they worked at HYATT Hotels as a Guest Services Agent and at Camp Laurel as a Camp Counselor and Sailing Instructor. In 2010, they worked at Flashpackers Noosa as a Night Manager & Courtesy Bus Driver and at Windflow Technology Limited as a Final Year Project Student. Finally, in 2009, they worked at Newmont Mining Corporation as a Summer Engineer, completing general mine research and identifying potential energy saving initiatives in the mill complex.

Andy Nyce, PMP, has an extensive education history. Andy earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury in 2011. Andy then went on to obtain a Masters in Renewable Energy from Murdoch University in 2015. In 2016, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Andy also obtained their OSHA 30 certification from ClickSafety in the same year. Additionally, they have taken courses from HeatSpring Online Learning from 2014-2019 and from PMTraining.org in 2015. Theireducation began at St. Pauls Collegiate School from 2002-2005. Andy is currently enrolled in Session 47 / Cohort Jolt at altMBA. Andy also holds certifications as a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (IT) from the Association of Energy Engineers and as a NABERS Trainee Assessor from the Office of Environment and Heritage (NSW).
