Emile Martens is a seasoned consultant specializing in operational design, interoperability (TSI OPE), system engineering, and issue management for ERTMS. Since 2007, they have been working at 3i Consultancy, while also contributing their expertise to various roles at Movares and ProRail, among others. Emile has been involved with the Program ERTMS since 2019, where they currently serve as a consultant and chair of the joint Dutch Program ERTMS-Digitale Schiene Deutschland working group on Operational Processes. They hold a Master’s degree from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, earned in 1998.
