Jon Robert Emlano

Jon Robert Emlano has a diverse work experience throughout their career. Jon Robert is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at ErudiFi, overseeing their businesses in Indonesia and the Philippines. Prior to this role, they worked at Bukas as the Country Manager and later as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), where they were responsible for various aspects of the business operations, including finance, marketing, and risk management.

Before joining Bukas, Emlano worked at Cashalo as the Controller and Treasury Head, where they utilized the Cashalo platform for Paloo Financing Inc. Jon Robert also held the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Toyota Financial Services Philippines Corporation, where they oversaw credit, market, and operational risks. Additionally, they served as the Senior Manager of Risk Management at the same company.

Emlano started their career as a Consultant at RGP and later worked at SGV & Co. as an Associate, Senior Associate, and Associate Director. During their time at SGV & Co., they handled various responsibilities, including designing audit procedures, overseeing engagement progress, interacting with clients, and reviewing financial statements.

Furthermore, Emlano gained international experience as a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young Hong Kong through a global exchange program. Jon Robert handled clients in the banking and asset management industries during their time there.

Jon Robert Emlano holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Asian Institute of Management. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accountancy from Laguna College and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines. Jon Robert is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant by the Professional Regulation Commission, which they obtained in November 2009. Recently, in April 2022, they completed the Python Data Structures certification from Coursera.
