Apostolos Papavasileiou

APOSTOLOS PAPAVASILEIOU is a seasoned security professional currently serving as the Critical Infrastructures Security Operations Manager at ESA Security Solutions S.A., overseeing security operations for Helleniq Energy and Desfa since July 2021. With a strong background in security management, APOSTOLOS has held numerous roles, including Security Supervisor at the Greek Ministry of Health, where responsibilities involved monitoring site incidents and coordinating emergency responses. Experience includes managing security operations at the Greek National Donation Blood Center and various supervisory roles prior to that. APOSTOLOS completed a Diploma in National Security Policy Studies from the Public Vocational Training Institute of Athens and holds a Certificate in Security Management from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, along with a Diploma in Security of Museums and Archaeological Sites. APOSTOLOS' foundational experience stems from military service as a paratrooper in the Greek special forces.
