Lihao Meng

Lihao Meng serves as the Director of Protein Engineering at esBiolab since August 2023. Previously, Lihao Meng held the position of Staff Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific from February 2009 to April 2023, where contributions included the development of the Brilliant Ultra Violet™ and Brilliant Violet™ Polymer Dyes and the ProQuantum High-Sensitivity Immunoassay platform using PLA technology. Earlier experience includes roles as Research Scientist at Invitrogen, focusing on various assay developments and contributing to a Nature publication, as well as Research Scientist at Protometrix Inc, where an automated high-throughput insect cell expression system was developed. Lihao Meng began a postdoctoral research role at Yale University from June 2000 to March 2002, contributing to protein cloning and expression. Educational credentials include a PhD in Developmental Cellular and Molecular Biology from Yale University, an MS in Neuroscience from The University of Kansas, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Sun Yat-sen University.
