ESC Region 11
Kelsie Lumadue, M.Ed., currently serves as an Educational Consultant at ESC Region 11, advocating for over 75 school districts in Texas since August 2019. Previously, Kelsie worked as a Curriculum and Assessment Design Specialist at the Texas Education Agency from 2016 to 2019, overseeing public education initiatives. Kelsie's experience includes roles as Digital Learning Coordinator and Leadership Fellow at KIPP Austin Public Schools, where innovative strategies improved digital learning implementation and instructional practices. Kelsie began teaching as a Founding Teacher and Curriculum Specialist at KIPP Austin, following positions as a 5th Grade Teacher and Grade Level Chair at Uplift Education and a Second Grade Teacher at Houston ISD. In addition to teaching, Kelsie held leadership roles, including Student Body President at Texas Christian University and various internships related to education and public relations, and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

As an intermediary educational agency, ESC Region 11 provides professional development, technical assistance, and management of educational programs to 76 public school districts, 17 public charter schools, 90 charter campuses, and 150 private schools. We serve a total of 592,249 total students and 77,517 educational personnel. With an area covering 10 counties of North Texas, Region 11 services an area of 7,843 square miles, roughly equal to the state of Massachusetts in size. School districts in this region range in size from Fort Worth Independent School District's large metropolitan schools to small rural districts with only one building housing a total of 80 students in grades K-9. The Service Center is centrally located in White Settlement, Texas, just west of Fort Worth, Texas, and is surrounded by many community and cultural resources.
