Joshua Modeste

Joshua Modeste is an experienced educator currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor in the Science Education Program at Teachers College, Columbia University, since January 2025. Additionally, Joshua has been a High School Science Teacher with the NYC Department of Education since September 2016 and works as an Educational Consultant for The New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute since June 2020. Joshua holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, achieved between 2021 and 2025, and earned a BA/MST in Biology and Adolescent Education from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh from 2011 to 2016.
