Tom Van Gessel

Tom Van Gessel has over fifteen years of experience in finance and accounting. Tom is currently the Treasurer at ESCA Zwemmen, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to that, they were the Global Finance Manager at Cordstrap from February 2019 to September 2020.

Tom began their career in 2006 as the Financial Controller at MEDIQ. Tom then moved to Esperite N.V. (pka Cryo-Save Group N.V.) in November 2008, where they first served as the Group Controller before being promoted to Finance Director in April 2014. Tom left Esperite in March 2015 for Riwal, where they served as Business Controller Europe (a.i.) from July 2015 to December 2015.

In January 2016, Tom returned to Esperite N.V. as the Group Controller. Tom held this position until December 2016, when they became the CFO of Aalberts Engineered Valves. Tom remained in this role until January 2019, when they became the Group Controller at Aalberts N.V. Tom left Aalberts N.V. in January 2020 and began working at Cordstrap as the Global Finance Manager in February 2019.

Tom Van Gessel has a background in accounting and finance, and has completed a bachelor's degree, an executive master's degree, and a compliance and risk management program. Tom is also certified in Lean Six Sigma.
