Andrew Kim has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field since 1998. Andrew began their career as a Research Technologist at the University of Washington in 1998. Andrew then moved to the University of California, San Francisco in 2000, where they worked as a Staff Research Associate. In 2009, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF. In 2012, they became a Basic Research Fellow at the American Society of Hematology. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Staff Scientist at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Andrew then moved to The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in 2017, where they worked as a Senior Scientist. Finally, in 2018, they began working as a Scientist at Escient Pharmaceuticals.
Andrew Kim received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from the University of Washington between 1994 and 1998. Andrew then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine between 2004 and 2009.
