Ravi Shankar

Ravi Shankar has a strong background in program management and a diverse range of experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. Ravi is currently serving as the Head of Program Management at Escientia Advance life Sciences since October 2016. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Manager of Program Management at Piramal Enterprises Limited from July 2014 to September 2016, where they managed strategic projects and collaborated closely with the leadership team. From June 2013 to July 2014, they held the position of Senior Manager of Program Management at Aurobindo Pharma Limited, where they submitted cost proposals, interacted with clients, and handled customer audits. Ravi also served as a Senior Manager of Program Management at SAI Life Sciences Ltd from October 2009 to June 2013, overseeing cost, time, and scope management of various projects. Additionally, Ravi Shankar worked as a Research Associate at SAI Life Sciences Ltd from June 2006 to September 2009, gaining experience in process development and collaboration with different group leaders. Ravi began their career as a Chemist at Mylan Laboratories Limited (previously Matrix Laboratories Limited) from November 2003 to June 2006, focusing on process development and technology transfer. Prior to this, they worked as an Analyst at Coromandel Fertilizers Limited from December 2000 to September 2003.

Ravi Shankar began their education at St Aloysius High School in Vizag, where they studied up to Std 8 from 1985 to 1993. After completing their high school education, they went on to attend Andhra University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from 1996 to 1999. Ravi then continued their studies at Andhra University and earned a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from 1999 to 2001.
