Project Lead The Way Teacher Of Biomedical Science At Del Lago Academy Of Applied Sciences at Escondido Union High School District

Amanda Wolfe is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in the field of science education, currently serving as the Project Lead the Way Teacher of Biomedical Science at Del Lago Academy of Applied Sciences, within the Escondido Union High School District since July 2013. In this role, Amanda teaches Principles of Biomedical Science and Human Body Systems Courses, collaborates with the Science Department as Chair to align curriculum to new NGSS standards, and acts as an advisor for Key Club and LGBT initiatives. Previous experience includes teaching roles in the Grossmont Union High School District and as a teacher candidate at California State University San Marcos, alongside project management in environmental programs and volunteer work with the U.S. Peace Corps in Morocco. Amanda holds a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Biology from California State University San Marcos.
