Anil Kakkar

Anil Kakkar has extensive work experience in various roles related to information technology. Anil began their career in 2000 as a Senior Software Engineer at Mind, where they focused on developing technology and customizing solutions. Anil later worked at GECIS (GE Capital International Service) as a Consultant, leading a team of database developers and working on a monitoring tool used by the GE corporate community to measure application performance. Anil then joined Agilent Technologies as a Project Manager, where they managed ERP finance enhancements and designed solutions to improve the IT landscape. Anil then transitioned to Indus Towers Limited as a Senior Manager - IT (DWH & BI), where they were accountable for the planning, implementation, and control of the DWH & BI program. Anil also developed the team and managed program delivery with vendor partners. At Agilent Technologies, Anil served as a Project Manager (Business Processes Specialist) and worked on various projects to improve business processes. Their most recent role was at Escorts Kubota Limited, where they initially served as the Head of IT Applications, leading transformation initiatives and developing project goals aligned with the overall business strategy. Anil was later promoted to the position of Chief Information Officer.

Anil Kakkar holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from Maharshi Dayanand University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the same university, from 2000 to 2002. Anil also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Kurukshetra University, earned in 1998 and 1999. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electronics from Maharshi Dayanand University, completed from 1994 to 1997. In terms of additional certifications, Anil obtained a certification in Assessing Digital Maturity from LinkedIn in 2021, as well as a Digital Disruptions Program certification from ISB Executive Education in the same year. Anil also holds a certification in Leading Teams for High Performance (LTHP) from ISB Executive Education in 2017.
