Georgi Alipiev

Georgi Alipiev has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Georgi started their career in 2009 as a Computer Operator at AII Data Processing. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at DHL as an Application Support Specialist and Project Manager. In 2013, they joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Datacenter Operations Manager, where they began as a Project Manager and later became the single point of contact for managing the facility, equipment, and projects in a regional Tier 2 lab. In 2015, they joined OUTFITTERY as an IT Lead, and in 2016, they moved to Deutsche Telekom as a Senior Cloud Engineer. Most recently, since 2020, they have been working at ESCRIBA AG as a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Georgi Alipiev obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering from New Bulgarian University between 2012 and 2014.

In addition to their degree, Georgi has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became a VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization. In 2017, they achieved the certifications of MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, MCSA: Linux on Azure, and Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator. In 2018, Georgi obtained the MCSA: Office 365 - Certified 2018 certification, followed by the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification in 2019. Their latest achievements include the certification of Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in 2020 and the Elements of AI certification from the University of Helsinki, also obtained in 2020.
