Kathryn MacAluso

Kathryn Macaluso is an experienced Case CATalyst scopist and proofreader, currently working with Proofing by Kathryn since April 2016, while also serving as a transcript proofreader and editor for eScribers, LLC. Kathryn utilizes expertise in reading StenEd and realtime steno, as well as adhering to various style guides for court documents. Previous roles include high school teacher and department chair at Baltimore County Public Schools, where curriculum writing and mentoring of student teachers were key responsibilities. Kathryn has also instructed at the Maryland Institute College of Art and Corcoran College of Art and Design. Educational credentials include a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Administration & Supervision from Morgan State University and a Master of Art in Teaching from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Professional training includes coursework in transcript proofreading and Internet scoping.
