Michael Best

Michael Best has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael started their career at KPMG in 2004 as an Associate in Audit and later moved on to become a Senior Associate in Risk Advisory Services. Michael then transitioned to Manager in Financial Risk Management Services and Senior Manager in Transaction Services. Michael also held the position of Senior Manager in Risk Advisory Services and Senior Associate in Internal Audit during their time at KPMG.

In 2017, Michael joined MUFG as the Vice President of Risk Governance and Regulatory Compliance. Michael later took on the role of Vice President in M&A Integration and finally became the Program Risk and Compliance Officer in the Corporate Strategy Office.

Most recently, Michael has been working at Escrow.com as a BSA / AML and Regulatory Compliance Officer. Michael'sresponsibilities in this role are ongoing.

Michael Best holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Purdue University. In 2018, they obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS. It is also noted that they have a certification called Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) from the American Bankers Association, but the exact year of obtaining this certification is not provided.
