Diego Lopez Correa

Diego Lopez Correa, M.Sc., CISSP, CISM, currently serves as an I&O IT Security Officer at Holcim and as a professor of Cybersecurity at Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito. With a robust background in cybersecurity, Diego has held various significant roles at Halliburton, including Cybersecurity Product Manager, Cloud Infrastructure Security Lead, and Cloud Security Specialist. Prior experience includes serving as Services Manager and Senior IT Security Consultant with R&C Business Consulting. Diego holds a Master's degree in Information Security and a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field from Universidad de Los Andes, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito. Specializing in Cloud Security, secure software development, and vulnerability management, Diego is dedicated to equipping future cybersecurity professionals while fostering resilience against evolving cyber threats.
