Xianqiong Zhao

Xianqiong Zhao is an experienced professional in the railway signaling and verification domain, currently serving as the Railway Signaling Validation Manager at ESE Engineering und Software-Entwicklung GmbH since April 2018, focusing on the verification and compliance evaluation of Railway ETCS Systems. Prior to this role, Xianqiong held the position of Associate Research Engineer at Arts et Métiers ParisTech from December 2015 to April 2018, contributing to railway verification methodology and participating in the DEPARTS project, utilizing Stochastic Petri Nets and Monte-Carlo Simulation. Xianqiong also has experience as a Research Associate at the China Academy of Railway Sciences, where involvement included high-speed railway interoperability testing, and as a Visiting Research Scientist at the Technical University of Braunschweig, working on satellite-based train control systems. Xianqiong holds a PhD in Traffic Information and Control, alongside a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree from Beijing Jiaotong University.
