Igor Hmelina

Igor Hmelina started working at eSentire in March 2021 as a Security Operations Center Analyst. Prior to that, they worked at Kriska Holdings Ltd. from October 2017 to March 2021, initially as a Truck Driver and later as a Driver Service Representative.

Igor Hmelina obtained a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. In 2020, they attended Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst at Toronto Metropolitan University for SANS training, focusing on GSEC and GCIH certificates in the field of Cybersecurity. Igor also holds various certifications, including the IBM Certified Associate Analyst - IBM QRadar SIEM V7.3.2 from IBM, and the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) and GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications. Additionally, Igor serves on the GIAC Advisory Board.
