Sagar Jha

Sagar Jha is an experienced geophysicist currently working as a Geophysical Data Processor at ESG Solutions since July 2021, focusing on micro-seismic data monitoring, ISM monitoring, and RESMAP monitoring. Prior to this role, Sagar served as a Field Geophysicist at Digitec Geophysical Services, where responsibilities included conducting 2D seismic surveys in coal seams of IB Valley, Odisha, from December 2019 to June 2021. Sagar's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Applied Geophysics from Kurukshetra University and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, Sagar conducted master thesis research at the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, estimating geomagnetic fields using archaeological artifacts from Keeladi, Tamil Nadu, in 2019.
