Kate Kennedy

Kate Kennedy is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and operational excellence across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at SME Capital since October 2019, Kennedy has demonstrated a strong commitment to building businesses in the tech-enabled alternative finance space. Prior roles include advising the Chief Executive Officer at Esher Advisory, and providing consultancy for growth strategies at H&T Group plc. At Travelex, significant contributions were made as Digital and Commercial Development Director, where Kennedy led a global team and drove digital transformation. Early career experiences at WHSmith and Bain & Company further established a solid foundation in business development and strategy. Kate Kennedy holds an MA in History from the University of Bristol.
