Neil Buethe

Neil Buethe has extensive work experience in communications and media. Neil began their career as a General Assignment/Sports Reporter for Baraboo News Republic in 2002. In 2003, they joined the U.S. Soccer Federation as the Youth National Team Press Officer. Neil then progressed within the organization, serving as the Communications Content Manager/Video Host from 2006 to 2007, and later as the Senior Manager of Communications from 2007 to 2018. Neil currently holds the position of Chief Communications Officer at the U.S. Soccer Federation.

Neil Buethe holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago, which they obtained from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1995 to 1999.
