Angel Ovando

Angel Ovando is an experienced IT specialist and educator with a diverse background spanning over three decades in information technology and management. Currently serving as a faculty member at ESI School of Management since January 2022, Angel previously held the position of IT Operations Manager for Financial Systems at HealthCare.com and worked as a consultant and trainer in IT at ALBUS EDUCA. A significant part of Angel's career was spent at Merck Group, where leadership roles included End User Services Senior Specialist for the Americas and IT Country Head for Central America and the Caribbean. Additionally, Angel has held academic positions and has extensive educational qualifications, including a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management with a specialization in Marketing. Ongoing professional development includes certifications in areas such as digital business transformation and SCRUM project management.
