Yvon Lemay

Yvon Lemay has extensive work experience in project management and quality assurance roles. Yvon is currently the Director of Project Management Practice at ESI Technologies since August 2021. Before this, they held the position of Strategic Advisor/Senior Project Manager at the same company since July 2020.

From November 2017 to July 2020, Yvon Lemay worked as the Chief Operations Officer at PRAGMA NDT. Prior to that, they were employed as a Senior Project Manager at Optel Vision from November 2015 to November 2017.

Yvon Lemay also has experience working at Fujitsu Canada as a Senior Project Manager from May 2012 to October 2015, and at LGS - Une société IBM as a Project Manager from April 2011 to May 2012.

Before these roles, Yvon Lemay worked as a QA Manager at Coveo from May 2010 to April 2011. Yvon also held multiple roles at Olympus IMS, including QA Manager from March 2006 to May 2010, Software Manager from March 2000 to February 2006, Project Manager from January 1999 to January 2001, and Software Developer from October 1995 to December 1998.

Yvon Lemay's early work experience includes working as a Software Developer at Nutaq (Lyrtech) from 1991 to 1995.

Yvon Lemay's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval, which was obtained from 1990 to 1991. Prior to that, Yvon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from the same university, studying from 1987 to 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Yvon has also obtained several certifications. In 2008, they received the Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board). In 2014, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from ITIL Certified.

More recently, Yvon obtained multiple certifications related to Agile project management. In 2020, they obtained the Kanban Expert, Kanban Project Manager, Product Owner, Scaled Scrum Expert, and Scrum Master certifications from the International Scrum Institute™. Additionally, in 2023, they achieved the PMI® Authorized PMP® Exam Prep certification from the Project Management Institute.
