Sheri Peifer

Sheri Peifer has over 25 years of work experience in the field of senior care and aging services. Sheri currently serves as the President & CEO of Eskaton, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this role, they were the President of Eskaton from September 2022 to September 2023. Sheri also served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) from January 2014 to August 2022, and as the Vice President of Strategic Planning from June 2005 to December 2013. Before joining Eskaton, Sheri worked as a Consultant at Aging Services of California in 2005. From 2001 to 2005, they were the Director of Resident and Client Services at Messiah Lifeways. Sheri also gained experience as a Program Analyst II in Senior Housing at the California Department of Aging from 2000 to 2001. Their early career included an Administrator role at Merrill Gardens from 1996 to 2000.

Sheri Peifer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Studies and Gerontology from Messiah University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Gerontology & Education at California State University-Sacramento from 1998 to 2001. In 2015, Sheri attended Stanford University, where they pursued a Design Judge program. Additionally, they completed a Finance and Accounting for the Non-financial Executive program at Stanford Summer Session in 2019. Currently, Sheri is enrolled in a short program at Wharton Executive Education, focusing on Executive Presence and Persuasive Leadership, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
