Lukas Kotsi has extensive experience in safety management, serving as Chief Safety Officer at Eskom since February 2009, as well as in similar roles at Randfontein Estates from January 2000 to January 2009 and Harmony Gold from September 1986 to January 2008. Lukas began a safety career at JCI as a Safety Officer from September 1986 to November 1998. Educational qualifications include lead auditor certification in DQS OSHSAS 18001:2007, COMSOC 2 and COMSOC safety officer diplomas from the Chamber of Mines, and foundational education from Katlehong High School and Falesizwe Secondary School.
