Alexander Chalmers

Alexander Chalmers currently serves as the Vice President of Organizational Development & Safety and Chief Safety Officer at Rutherford Contracting since June 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing talent acquisition, management, engagement, and workforce development for over 50 staff, along with implementing strategies to enhance business results. Prior to this role, Alexander held positions at Apotex Inc. from September 2010 to June 2013 as a Competency Development Coordinator, focusing on training solutions for competency gaps, and as a Documentation Training Coordinator, ensuring effective training plans were established. Alexander began at Rutherford Contracting in October 2006 as a Human Resources/Health and Safety Administrator, managing safety and HR programs, and leading various HR projects. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Human Resources Management (Honours) from York University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Laurentian University.
