Tebogo Makhwelo

Tebogo Makhwelo is an accomplished Information Technology Executive with extensive experience in infrastructure operations and application strategy. Currently serving at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd since October 2021, Tebogo formulates and executes the infrastructure operations strategy, leading a team of over 90 IT professionals. Previously, from December 2018 to September 2021, Tebogo held the position of Senior Manager IT Operations at Babcock International Group, overseeing the application, business intelligence, and analytics portfolio for Africa. Prior to that, Tebogo accumulated significant experience at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd from January 2000 to November 2018, holding various executive roles related to IT infrastructure, security, and application development, including management of critical business applications like SAP and Oracle. Tebogo's educational background includes a BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Pretoria and ITIL Foundation training from CTU Training Solutions, complemented by leadership training at Stellenbosch Business School.
