Angela Chen-Delantar has over 8 years of work experience. Angela began their career in 2011 as a Wealth Management Intern at BMO Nesbitt Burns. Angela returned to BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2012 as a Summer Analyst. In 2012, they also worked as an ESG Analyst at Corporate Knights Inc. where they researched ESG performance of publicly-listed companies for inclusion in Corporate Knights' corporate sustainability rankings. In 2013, they worked as an Analyst at the CPP Investment Board, where they supported various public markets activities including execution of derivative-based strategies and due diligence for the funds selection process of external hedge fund managers. Angela also worked as a Summer Analyst at the Grameen Bank where they conducted desk research and field interviewers with borrowers to assess the economic and social impacts of various loan structures. In 2015, they worked as an Impact Investing Analyst at the World Wildlife Fund, where they worked on development of impact investing models like fisheries reform financing, and water quality credit trading. In 2016, they became an Associate, Co-Founding Member and Circular Economy Fellow at Akipeo Inc., where they leveraged capital markets to enable the sustainable production of soft commodities in emerging markets. In 2019, they became an Entrepreneur In Residence at Antler and Co-Founder, CEO at Eskwelabs.
Angela Chen-Delantar obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with Distinction in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto between 2009 and 2013. Angela also attended the Columbia University High School Summer Immersion Program and the Institut de Touraine Intensive French Language Program. In addition, Angela is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder from the CAIA Association, a Level II Candidate Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute, and has a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from Oxford Seminars.
