Marcelina’s banking career includes extensive experience at several financial institutions, including Chase Manhattan Bank and Citizens Bank, where she held several Vice Presidential-level positions. These responsibilities prepared Marcelina for her leadership roles at ESL, where she first joined as Relationship Development Specialist (2001) before earning a promotion to Branch Center Sales Manager (2003). In 2008, Marcelina was named vice president/director of the ESL Contact Center. She earned a promotion to her current post in July 2014, assuming overall leadership of the ESL Branches as well as the Contact Center.
Marcelina holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Ashford University. Active in the community throughout her career, Marcelina served as a member of the Greece Youth Hall of Fame Committee, board member of the Fairport Baptist Homes as well as the Greece Chamber of commerce. She previously volunteered as president, Rochester Portuguese American Association, and served on the board of the United Way of Greater Rochester.
