Michael Curasi

Senior Instructional Designer at ESL Federal Credit Union

Michael Curasi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael started their career as a Clerk/Assistant Manager at Movie Gallery from 1996 to 2000. Michael then moved on to Wegmans Food Markets where they worked as a Head Front Waiter from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they joined the NYC Department of Education as an ARIS Database Clerk for a few months. From 2010 to 2011, Michael worked as a Front Waiter at Gramercy Tavern. Michael then transitioned to ShoreTel, where they held various roles including Enterprise Account Advocate from 2011 to 2013, Cloud Education Specialist from 2013 to 2014, and Education Specialist from 2014 to 2017. Michael then moved to Mitel in 2017 and served as a Senior Education Specialist from April to December 2017. In 2018, they joined ESL Federal Credit Union as an Instructional Designer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Instructional Designer in October 2021.

Michael Curasi completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Sociology at SUNY Geneseo from 1999 to 2003. In 2010 to 2011, they attended Magnet Improv School, where they graduated from the Improvisation Core Curriculum program, specializing in Improvisational Comedic Performance.

In addition to their education, Michael Curasi obtained several certifications. In September 2013, they completed the Designing Learning Program at ASTD. Michael also earned the Certified DISC Professional Behavioral Analyst certification from Target Training International, Ltd. in May 2013. Most recently, in November 2021, they obtained the EQi 2.0/EQ 360 Certification from OKA (Otto Kroeger Associates).
