Petter Ruda

Petter Ruda has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and shipping industries. Petter is currently serving as the CFO at ESL Shipping Ltd since October 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Deputy Board Member at Finnish Shipowner's Association starting from January 2015. From January 2015 to September 2018, Petter Ruda worked as the Vice President of Finance and Business Development at Bore Ltd. Petter also served as a Business Development Manager at Bore Ltd from December 2013 to December 2014. In addition, they were a Board Member at Thunship Ltd from January 2014 to June 2016. Petter Ruda's earlier experiences include working as a Group Business Controller and Business Controller at Finnlines Plc from June 2011 to December 2013 and from January 2010 to June 2011 respectively. Petter also served as the CFO of Autotank Group at Autotank from November 2007 to January 2010. Prior to this, Petter Ruda held various roles at Aspo Plc, Ålandsbanken Abp, and Vasa andelsbank.

Petter Ruda attended Korsholms gymnasium from 1995 to 1997 and obtained a Studentexamen. From 1998 to 2005, they studied at Åbo Akademi University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Business and Economics with a specialization in Economics. In addition to their formal education, Petter Ruda obtained a Board Certificate from the Board Company in February 2023.
