Laura Ionita

Laura Ionita has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as a Risk Analysis Officer at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) since September 2016. Prior to this role, Laura worked as a Research Analyst and Trainee at the European Central Bank from March 2013 to September 2016, and as a Junior Finance Accounting professional at Unicredit Business Integrated Solutions GMBH Austria from October 2011 to March 2013. Laura's career began with an internship at Piraeus Bank Romania in July 2010, where involvement included Centralized Operations and Cards Operations. Laura holds a Master's degree in the Management of Banking Systems from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, acquired in 2013, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, Banks and Stock Exchange from the same institution, completed in 2011.
