Sonsoles Bekkevold-Cabanis has a diverse education history spanning over several years. In 1997 to 2003, they attended Universidad CEU San Pablo and obtained a Degree in Law specialized in European Law. In 2002 to 2003, they pursued further studies at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, earning a Diplôme d’Études Juridiques et Economiques de l’Unión Européenne (Degree in Legal and Economic Studies of the European Union) with a focus on Droit (Law). Sonsoles Bekkevold-Cabanis pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in Competition Law at the Brussels School of Competition (BSC), affiliated with the University of Liège, from 2014 to 2015. In 2021, they attended Sciences Po to complete a course on Politics and Economics of International Energy. Additionally, they obtained certification in "European Business Law: Competing in Europe" from Lund University in September 2017.
