M. Amin H. Gharai is currently engaged as a Research Fellow and Internship Trainee at Ospedale Policlinico San Martino since October 2021, focusing on developing an in vitro model of murine uveal melanoma using CRISPR technology. Since September 2021, M. Amin H. Gharai serves as Treasurer for ESN Italia (Erasmus Student Network). Previous research experience includes a position as a Student Researcher at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences from October 2018 to June 2019, investigating cannabinoid derivatives' effects on hemorrhagic stroke in mice, and at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad from November 2016 to September 2017, exploring the industrial extraction of protein from β-keratin-rich bio-waste for pharmaceutical and nutritional applications. M. Amin H. Gharai holds a Master's degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Genova (2019-2024) and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Islamic Azad University (2015-2019).
