Brant Layton

Brant Layton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Brant currently works as a Software Development Engineer at ESO, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they had a long stint as the President and Principal Consultant at Digital Computing and Consulting, Inc., a family-owned consulting business specializing in computers, hardware and software, networking, and programming. Brant also worked as a Contract Developer at ESO Solutions, where they developed and supported various software systems such as TraumaBase and Visual Fire. Brant was an EDI Specialist at Bar-S Foods Co., responsible for onboarding new trading partners and maintaining document flow. In addition, they worked as a Contract Developer at Emergency Technologies Inc., contributing to the development of the NFIRS 5.0 compliant fire incident tracking system, Visual Fire. Brant's experience also includes a role as the IT Director at Medical Billing Management, Inc. Furthermore, they have worked as a Contract Programmer/Developer at Honeywell Process Solutions and ICOTRON. Brant's journey in the tech industry started with their own company, Computer Solutions, where they served as the President. Brant'searly career includes a role as a Contract Programmer/Developer at Honeywell Process Solutions.

Brant Layton pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Brigham Young University from 1976 to 1977. Prior to that, they attended Northern Arizona University from 1970 to 1975, where they studied Chemistry and Biology. Later, from 1978 to 1985, Brant Layton pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
