Samantha Chao

Samantha Chao has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Samantha most recently worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Esperanto Technologies, Inc starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they were a People Operations Generalist II at Mindstrong from August 2019 to May 2021, where they managed HR operations and employee life cycle. Samantha also revamped and led the new hire onboarding program and managed the performance review management process. From November 2016 to August 2019, Samantha served as an HR Generalist at eSilicon, where they managed and improved the onboarding program for employees, contractors, consultants, and interns. Before that, they worked as an HR Generalist at Employment & Community Options, where they conducted full-cycle recruitment and participated in the resolution of employee relations issues. Samantha's earliest experience was as a Human Resources Assistant at TDK - Headway Technologies, inc. from March 2014 to April 2016, where they processed HR transactions, handled employment and HR inquiries, and compiled interview and onboarding materials.

Samantha Chao pursued their education at San Jose State University from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management. Apart from their formal education, Samantha Chao has also obtained a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain.
