Adina Cohen is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles related to counseling, grants management, and community outreach. Currently serving as a Bilingual Staff Therapist at LoSAH Center of Hope and simultaneously holding the position of Grants Manager at Esperanza Health Centers since July 2020, Adina has previously worked as a Bilingual Therapist Intern at The Kedzie Center and as a Domestic Violence Counselor/Advocate at Connections for Abused Women and their Children. Adina's professional journey also includes positions as a Community Outreach Intern at AARP, an Evaluation Specialist at Latino Education Institute, and a Community Development Intern at UIC Great Cities Institute. Adina holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago, along with a Master of Arts in Community Development and Planning and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Spanish from Clark University.

Esperanza Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center that operates four primary care clinics on Chicago’s Southwest Side. Through the provision of a full range of bilingual, culturally appropriate primary and specialty care, behavioral health, and wellness services, we’re committed to improving health equity and reducing barriers to care for the residents of the medically underserved, primarily Latino communities we serve. Since 2004, we’ve delivered care to over 25,000 patients each year regardless of immigration status, insurance status, or ability to pay.
