David Xiao

David Xiao is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of HCP Marketing at Esperion since December 2022, David leads HCP marketing strategy, KOL engagement, and medical education initiatives. Prior to this role, David was Senior Director of Commercial Scientific Communications at Affimed, driving scientific communication and stakeholder engagement in support of cancer treatment innovation. David's consulting experience included strategic and operational projects across various therapeutic areas. At Paratek Pharmaceuticals, David successfully launched NUZYRA, while at Otsuka, leadership in the marketing team for SAMSCA led to consistent achievement of financial and strategic goals. David's tenure at Pfizer included roles as Project Director and Senior Product Manager, focusing on emerging markets and antibiotic products. David holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Jilin University.
