Michelle L.

Michelle L. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michelle started their career as a Physician Assistant at American Weight Loss Centers in 2012, providing consultations, examinations, and treatments to patients in need of weight loss. Michelle also served as a Coolsculpting technician during their time there. In 2014, they became a Physician Assistant at LaserAway, where they worked until 2016.

In 2014, Michelle also took on the role of Consultant for the California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA). Michelle volunteered for this position and was responsible for providing input on conference content, schedule, speaker selection, and moderator duties for the organization's annual CME conferences. Michelle continued in this role until 2014.

Michelle joined AstraZeneca in 2014 as a Medical Science Liaison, focusing on the specialties of Allergy, Asthma, and Pulmonary. Michelle was promoted to a Senior CSL in September 2017. In 2016, Michelle also became an Executive Consultant for Rodan+Fields, an anti-aging skincare company. Michelle worked independently as a consultant for the company.

From 2018 to 2020, Michelle worked as a Medical Science Liaison at La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company, and from 2020 to 2022, they held the same position at Takeda. In 2022, they joined Ashfield Engage / Genentech as a Senior Medical Science Liaison and worked there until 2023.

Currently, Michelle works at Esperion as the Director of Scientific Engagement, a role they have held since January 2023. In 2017, they also served on the PA Studies Advisory Board at Chapman University, providing their expertise and advice to the board.

Michelle L. has a Physician Assistant (PA-C) degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Michelle also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Psychology from Ursinus College. In addition, they have a Limited X-ray License for DEXA Scan from the Modern Technology School.
