Pierrich Plusquellec

Pierrich Plusquellec is a highly experienced professional in the fields of nonverbal communication, stress management, and emotional well-being. Currently serving as the Scientific Director at Obvia since September 2023, Plusquellec also holds a position as an Associate Professor at Université de Montréal since June 2012, with a focus on nonverbal communication, emotional contagion, and stress interventions. Other roles include being the Founder and CEO of EmoScienS, an innovative startup that leverages facial biometrics for enhancing organizational well-being, and serving as the Director of the Centre d'Études en Sciences de la Communication Non Verbale. Plusquellec has developed various programs aimed at stress prevention and intervention, and has contributed significantly to research in the field as a co-director at the Centre d'études sur le stress humain. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Behavioral Biology and multiple post-doctoral studies in environmental health and developmental psychology.
