David Kim

David Kim is currently an advisor at Espresa, and has previously held positions at Zendesk, Gilead Sciences, Electronic Arts (EA), and Dell. David has a background in industrial engineering and has been working in Human Resources for over 20 years.

Kim started their career at UPS as an industrial engineer. David then transitioned to Price Waterhouse where they were a global human resources solutions consultant. In 1998, they became the HRMS manager at Cadence Design Systems. The following year, they took on the role of global diversity program manager at 3Com.

In 2002, Kim joined Dell as the director of D&I marketplace and talent. David held this position until 2014 when they became head of global diversity, inclusion & CSR at EA. After three years in this role, Kim moved to Gilead Sciences to become their head of inclusion & diversity. David held this position for just over three years before joining Espresa as an advisor.

David Kim started their educational career by obtaining a BA in Psychology and Business from Biola University. David then went on to obtain an MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University.
