Alkarim Jivraj

Alkarim Jivraj is the CEO of Espresso Capital. Alkarim has over 25 years of experience in technology investment banking and venture capital. Alkarim was the founder and managing partner of Intrepid Equity Partners Inc., a venture fund investing in early and growth stage software companies. Alkarim also founded Intrepid Equity Finance Ltd., which focused on providing fund raising, M&A, and business acceleration advisory services to early stage and growing technology companies. Prior to that, they were Managing Director of Technology Investment Banking at Yorkton Securities Inc., where they raised over $1 billion in private placements, initial public offerings, and follow-on public offerings across 100 transactions.

Alkarim Jivraj has a MBA in Finance from Ivey Business School at Western University and a BA in Theirtory from the University of Toronto.
