Gus Gutoski has worked in the field of cryptography for over two decades. From 2002 to 2020, they worked as a Software Developer at Cimmetry Systems, a Software Developer Intern at Softimage, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Waterloo, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Perimeter Institute. In 2015, they were a Decentralization Engineer at ConsenSys and a Security Researcher at ISARA Corporation. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Cryptographer at ConsenSys and Axelar. Currently, they are a Cryptography Engineer at Espresso Systems.
Gus Gutoski completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo between 2006 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the University of Calgary between 2003 and 2005. Gus also earned a Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath) with a double major in Computer Science and Combinatorics and Optimization from the University of Waterloo between 1997 and 2002.
