Fabien Léonard

Fabien Léonard is an experienced industrial liaison engineer at ESRF - The European Synchrotron, starting in February 2024, with a prior role as data analysis manager at The University of Manchester from October 2020 to February 2024, focusing on developing data analysis and visualization methods for 3D X-ray and neutron imaging data. Fabien has a strong academic background, having served as a lecturer in X-ray computed tomography at Dresden International University and a postdoctoral research associate at Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung, where significant contributions were made as the work package leader for the MetAMMI project. Additional experience includes research associate roles at The University of Manchester, and a PhD in Materials from The University of Manchester. Fabien holds various degrees, including a master's in research from Université de Limoges and engineering from ENSIL.
