Richard Kaufholz

Richard Kaufholz is the Chief Technology Officer at Esri South Africa since September 2011, responsible for guiding the technology strategy, promoting innovation, and optimizing sales and implementation practices. Prior roles at Esri include Solution Architect, where Richard established a new architecture practice for engaging enterprise customers, and GIS Specialist, focusing on developing GIS solutions. Richard's previous experience encompasses positions at Transnet as a GIS Specialist, Infotech Enterprises Europe Ltd as a GIS Consultant, and various roles in GIS coordination and data management. Academic credentials include an Executive Leadership Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, an MSc in Geographical Information Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and a BSc (HONS) in Geoinformatics from the University of Pretoria.
