Matt Au

Matt Au is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in software and hardware development. As Chief Technology Officer at SideChef since August 2016, Matt has established the company's technical vision, leading the design and delivery of the SideChef Smart Cooking Solution and overseeing the maintenance of 16 applications in production. Prior roles include Director of Payments at FunPlus, where Matt managed teams in Payments and Data, VP of Engineering at BTC China, and various leadership positions at Live Gamer, where responsibilities spanned from office management to payment gateway integration. Matt's early career includes significant contributions to Yahoo! as a Software Engineer, helping to develop the popular Yahoo! Avatar service. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.S. in Software Engineering from Santa Clara University.
